My new trowel snapped at the neck laying a foundation in Boise yesterday, so I had to finish the pour with a backup from my truck.
Has anyone else had a specific brand's tool fail under normal pressure, or is it just me getting a bad batch?

My buddy's brand new hammer drill seized up just tightening a lag bolt... total lemon.

Yeah that's rough for a new tool. Could be a bad motor or maybe it wasn't meant for that kind of torque. Either way, that's a warranty call for sure lol.

Maybe he just hit a knot in the wood (it happens).
