My mate did his place in Levenshulme and found old tiles under the floorboards.

Mate, I once pulled up a bit of carpet in my flat and found a potato under there. Wasn't even a proper looking potato, just a sad shriveled one. Makes your mate's old tiles sound like a real treasure.
