That Tuesday I laid 600 brick with a sprained wrist and the mortar finally cooperated
Last Tuesday I showed up to a job in Ferndale with my wrist wrapped in tape from a fall off a step ladder the day before. I figured I would lay maybe 200 brick and call it, but the mortar was mixed perfect, not too wet, not too stiff, and the corners on that garage just lined up. My laborer kept the mud coming and I hit 600 by 3pm, which is more than I did all last week combined. Does anybody else get their best days when they should be home icing a swollen wrist?
