Just realized I have done over 100 free museum visits this year

I started counting back in January because a friend dared me to see how many free days I could take advantage of. My city has a museum that offers free admission every Tuesday, and there are a few others with monthly free evenings. I hit 102 visits last week, which surprised me because I thought I was maybe around 50. Most of the time I just wander through the same exhibits, but I notice new details every time. Has anyone else tracked a similar milestone with a free hobby, or is that just my weird habit?

Those 102 museum visits sound like a lot to me, honestly. I mean, I get the appeal of free stuff and finding new things in old exhibits, but at some point you're just racking up a number for its own sake. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather spend that time trying out a different free hobby each month instead of going back to the same paintings over and over.

You know what... I used to think the same way, like why keep going back to the same stuff over and over. But after I tried it myself with something I loved, I totally get the appeal of just zoning out in a familiar space and catching tiny things you missed before.
