Appreciation post: the $8 rice cooker that saves my grocery budget

I kept buying those $5 pre-seasoned rice packets because my stovetop rice always turned mushy or burnt. Picked up a basic 3-cup rice cooker at Walmart for eight bucks and now I just use bulk rice and stock cubes. Has anyone else found a single cheap tool that cut their weekly food spending by like $15?

Right? The rice to water line is perfect every time. Saves me from that sad, crunchy undercooked rice disaster.
