Hit $50 a week on groceries and it felt like winning the lottery
I sat down after my monthly budget check in Austin and realized I'd been averaging exactly $50 a week on food for 3 months straight. That includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks with zero takeout. It clicked when I looked at my spreadsheet and saw I'd been buying whole chickens for $6 each and stretching them into 4 meals plus bone broth. Has anyone else hit a number that low and actually felt proud of it?

Felt like winning the lottery" is a little dramatic for saving twenty bucks a week.

Fair point @umaprice, but does the amount even matter if it's way more than they usually manage to save?
