I finally figured out buying whole chicken vs just breasts

Used to always grab the boneless skinless breasts for $4 a pound but bought a whole chicken for $6 last week and got 3 meals out of it plus broth. The savings add up fast when you break it down yourself.

Started doing the same thing about six months ago. A $7 bird gives me enough meat for tacos, sandwiches, and soup plus a solid broth base. Way easier on the wallet than I thought it would be.

Yeah I hear you but I gotta disagree... I hate breaking down a whole bird, its messy and takes time. Plus I like thighs and drumsticks way more than white meat so buying separate parts just works better for me.
