I used to think frozen veggies were a waste of money until I did the math
I always bought fresh broccoli because I thought frozen was full of water and flavorless. Then I calculated it out and realized fresh goes bad in 4 days while frozen lasts months, and I'm saving about $15 a week now. Has anyone else noticed a big difference in their grocery bill after switching to frozen produce?

Did you notice a difference in taste too? I always thought frozen veggies were mushy but I tried frozen broccoli last month and honestly it's fine once you roast it.

Roasting frozen broccoli is basically a magic trick, turns a sad little ice cube into something you'd actually pay for at a restaurant. Frozen peas are still garbage though, no amount of heat is fixing those mushy little green disappointment spheres. But hey, if you can make frozen broccoli work, more power to you, just don't try it with the frozen green beans, that's a crime against vegetables.
