I was sure buying bulk spices was a waste, but I gave it a shot last fall

My friend kept telling me to hit the bulk bins at the co-op for cumin and paprika instead of those tiny jars at the grocery store. I caved and spent $3 on a bag that's lasted me 4 months compared to $5 for a tiny jar that's gone in 3 weeks. Am I missing something or is this the real budget hack for cooking meals?

And that's just the start, honestly. Once you figure out bulk is the move, you start realizing you can grab just a spoonful of weird stuff like smoked paprika or garam masala for like 50 cents and it changes your whole meal game. Plus, no more worrying about a jar going stale in the back of the cupboard, which used to happen to me all the time with the fancy stuff. It's the kind of hack that makes you wonder why you ever bought the overpriced tiny jars to begin with.
