My aunt told me I was wasting money on pre-chopped veggies and she was right

She grabbed the bag of diced onions out of my hand at the store and said 'you're paying triple for laziness.' I laughed it off but did the math later. A whole onion costs like 60 cents. That bag was $3.50. I started buying whole produce and spending 10 extra minutes chopping. Saved about $15 a week on just veggies. Anyone else have a family member call them out like that?

Oh man, my mom called me out for buying pre-shredded cheese once and it hurt but she was right. I started buying blocks and grating them myself, it melts way better and I save like $2 a bag. Now I actually prefer doing the extra minute of work for the better texture and savings.
