Pro tip: frozen veggie scraps make stock that beats store bought every time
I started tossing onion peels, carrot ends, and celery tops into a freezer bag last January, and after 3 batches I realized my 60 cent homemade stock had way more flavor than the $3.50 cartons I used to grab, anyone else do this or am I just cheap?

Freezer bag gang here. Celery leaves and carrot peels carry most of the flavor anyway. Store bought tastes like salty water next to this stuff. Plus you save money and cut waste at the same time. Toss in a parmesan rind if you really want to show off.
