Shoutout to the farmers market crew at Pike Place in Seattle
I grabbed a bag of bruised tomatoes for $2 last Saturday after a vendor told me they were about to toss them. Ended up making a huge batch of marinara that lasted me 5 days. Has anyone else scored deals on produce that would normally get thrown out?

Absolutely love those ugly veggie deals, they're basically a free cooking challenge (and a win for the wallet).
