Spent $38 on a vacuum sealer and now I feel trapped by it
Bought one of those cheap vacuum sealers last month to stretch meat deals, but the bags alone are eating my budget. I did the math and I'm paying about 50 cents per bag just to save maybe a dollar on chicken. Has anyone else found a way to make these things actually pay off, or should I just go back to freezer paper?

Honestly, those 50 cent bags only pay off if you're sealing bulk meat deals, not single packs.
