Spent $40 on a fancy spiralizer and now it's collecting dust in my pantry
I saw all those YouTube videos making veggie noodles and thought yeah, I'm gonna save so much money on pasta. Bought it, used it once to spiralize a zucchini, and the thing took forever to clean. Like 20 minutes scrubbing little green bits out of every crevice. That $40 could have bought me like 15 boxes of regular pasta. Anyone else have a kitchen gadget that was a total letdown?

My Mandoline slicer sits in the same dusty corner after I nearly took off my fingertip on the second use. The guard thing they include is useless for keeping your knuckles safe while you're trying to shave a potato. They're honestly a bigger hazard than they're worth for anyone who cooks without a cut glove.
