Before and after: my daily logs went from chaos to calm in 3 weeks
I was just scribbling random tasks in my daily log with no order and it was a mess. Then I started using a simple time blocking method from like 8am to 6pm and color coding work versus personal stuff. The difference is wild my pages actually make sense now and I can find things from 2 weeks ago. Has anyone else tried a strict time grid or does that feel too rigid for your style?

Have you tried color coding with highlighters yet? Because I tried that and now my daily log looks like a rainbow threw up on it. At least now I can find my dentist appointment from last month, even if my organizing system is a total disaster.

You can actually find things from 2 weeks ago? That's like a superpower to me.

Ha! Right? I swear my "system" is just me knowing I threw it somewhere and hoping for the best. Color coding sounded good in theory but now I just have a rainbow of confusion. Last week I spent 20 minutes looking for a receipt I knew was in one of three piles and I still couldn't find it. At this point I think "organized chaos" is my official method.
