Chatted with a stranger at the coffee shop who tracks only one thing in her bujo

I was getting a latte downtown last Saturday and the barista told me she uses her bullet journal just for tracking how many times she says no to things. She said it helps her stop overcommitting to favors and extra shifts. Made me wonder if maybe we overcomplicate our spreads when one simple tracker could do the job.

Switched to a similar single-tracker last month, way less pressure.

Man, I get that completely. @emmafisher you hit on something real there. I switched to a single goal tracker a while back and it honestly cut out so much noise. The pressure of keeping up with multiple targets at once was wearing me down, felt like I was failing every day. Now I just focus on one thing at a time and it's way easier to actually finish stuff. It's like your brain relaxes when you're not chasing ten things at once. Good move switching, I bet you're already feeling lighter about it.
