Debate: Should you use one pen for everything or switch colors constantly?
My friend Sarah told me last year that using multiple colors in my bullet journal was a waste of time and just made things messy. She swore by a single black pen for everything. I tried her way for 3 months and honestly my spreads looked cleaner but I totally stopped using the journal because it felt boring. So I switched back to a 4 color pack of Pilot G2s and now I actually track my habits and tasks again. What do you all think, does changing pens help you stay on track or just add clutter?

Hmm, have you tried just keeping a black pen for the main stuff and using one color for the bits you really want to stand out? I did something similar where I used a black pen for everything except my habit tracker which I did in green, and it kept me actually filling it in.

Oh man, isn't that the struggle? I tried doing a whole rainbow system once and it looked like a preschool art project by day three. Ended up just using a blue pen for everything because I kept losing the fancy ones. But I like that green habit tracker idea, it sounds simple enough that you'd actually keep up with it.
