I finally tried making a custom watercolor cover for my bullet journal
I saw a video about using watercolor paper and special glue, so I bought a whole kit for $35. The paper warped so bad it looked like a potato chip, and the glue made the first ten pages stick together forever. I spent three hours on a Tuesday night just trying to flatten it with heavy books. Has anyone actually gotten this to work, or should I just stick with a regular notebook cover?

That special glue is probably the problem, it sounds like PVA. In my experience, you need a spray adhesive for that to not make a mess.

Remember that time @derek_dixon78 tried to peel off a giant strip of spray adhesive he accidentally got on his garage floor? Took him like three hours with a heat gun and some mineral spirits.

Wait, @allen.drew thinks spray adhesive is the clean option? That stuff gets everywhere.
