I gave up my fancy monthly spread, the weekly one is where it's at
I used to spend 2 hours every month drawing out these big calendar pages with washi tape and color coding, but I kept abandoning them by week 3. Started doing a single weekly page with just a vertical time column and a task list after seeing a friend's setup in a cafe in Austin, and now I actually flip back to past weeks. Anyone else find the monthly layout useless even though all the Pinterest posts make it look necessary?

Three years ago I ditched monthly pages for a simple block weekly and never looked back.
