I used to think weekly spreads were a waste of time, but now I get it
For the first 8 months of bullet journaling I only did daily logs, thinking weekly spreads were just for people who like doodling. Then I started managing 3 rental properties in Tacoma and my tasks got completely scattered across the week. A simple horizontal weekly with 7 boxes has saved me from missing 4 maintenance reminders and 2 tenant check-ins so far. Has anyone else found a layout they swore they'd never use actually became essential?

Oh yeah, I was the same way with future logs. Thought they were pointless until I kept forgetting to prep for a trip three months out. Crazy how stuff creeps up on you.

Nah, I'm going to push back on this one a little. Daily logs are still the only thing that works for me after 3 years of bullet journaling. I've tried the weekly spreads twice and both times I just ended up ignoring them by Wednesday because they felt like an extra chore to maintain. The future log is different because you set it once and forget it, but a weekly spread requires constant updating and rewriting. What happens when your Tuesday task moves to Thursday and you have to either scratch it out or rewrite the whole thing? Seems like daily logs just adapt to real life better without all that extra overhead.
