Just realized my minimalist two-page monthly spread was killing my motivation
I spent 4 months religiously doing this clean color-coded future log but kept falling off by the 10th of each month because it felt like homework. Then I saw someone's cluttered dog-themed spread with doodles and stickers and tried adding just one stupid tiny drawing per day - now I actually flip back to look at the old pages. Has anyone else found that adding a little chaos made them actually stick with it?

The dog doodle thing is genius! I started adding a tiny rock or leaf sketch in the margin every day and now I actually look forward to opening my planner. My September spread has a crooked ghost from Halloween prep and a badly drawn taco, it makes me laugh. The pressure to be perfect was killing the whole point for me too.
