My attempt at a 'year at a glance' spread went sideways
I wanted to see my whole year on one page, so I drew a grid with 52 tiny boxes. After filling in just two months, my hand cramped and the boxes looked messy. I learned that trying to fit too much detail in a small space just makes it hard to use. Now I stick to simple monthlies and a separate future log. Has anyone found a good way to make a yearly overview that's actually useful?

See, I love the tiny box chaos. My yearly spread is just a big blank page where I scribble major deadlines and trips in different colored pens. Looks like a toddler's art project, but I can actually see my whole year at a glance.

Toddler art project method is the best, @the_nina. Mine looks the same.

You said "looks like a toddler's art project" - does that actually help you find things quickly, or do you have to hunt around the page?

Right? I did the same thing and gave up after month three. Does the big scribble page actually work for you though?
