My fountain pen leaked all over my journal and honestly, it was better than a gel pen
I was using a cheap gel pen for my daily logs for about a year, but last Tuesday my Pilot Kakuno fountain pen with Noodler's ink burped a big spot on my weekly spread. The ink dried flat and the page didn't get that weird plastic-y shine or skip like my old gel pens did when I wrote over it. Am I crazy for thinking a good ink bleed is actually less annoying than a bad pen?

A big ink spill would ruin my whole week. My journal pages get all wavy and the ink can soak through to the other side. Gel pens are predictable and dry fast, which works better for my quick notes. What do you do when a fountain pen leak messes up more than one page?

Sounds like a lot of drama over some wavy paper, but the_sage's glue trick is smart.

My last leak ruined three pages of meeting notes. I let the paper dry completely, then glued the stuck pages together with a thin layer of bookbinding glue. For future pages, I started putting a blotter sheet behind my current page as a barrier.
