My sister's constant notes on my bujo layouts
She leaves little sticky notes in my journal with 'improvements'. It feels like an invasion, and I just want her to stop. Now I hide it when she comes over, which defeats the purpose of having it out.

Honestly, I used to think leaving advice notes was no big deal, like if I saw a friend's to-do list I might add a tip. But then my buddy kept "fixing" my own planning pages for our hiking trips, and it felt super annoying. That really changed my mind on how invasive that can be. Your bujo is your private thing, and her sticky notes are just stepping over a line. Now I get why you hide it, but that sucks because you should be able to keep it out.

Man, that reminds me of my friend Mark's girlfriend who kept rewriting his grocery lists. He'd leave it on the fridge and she'd add all this healthy stuff and cross out his snacks. I mean, it started small but then she was editing his work calendar notes, saying his reminders were "too vague." It really messed with his head and they had a huge fight about it. So yeah @skylerc86, you're totally right that it feels invasive, even if the person thinks they're helping. It just shows a complete lack of respect for your own way of doing things.

Yeah, the "too vague" calendar thing really gets me. It's like they think your brain works the same as theirs. My sister used to do that with my packing list for trips, adding stuff like "formal shoes" when I was going camping. It makes you feel like a kid who can't get it right. That's not help, it's just control.
