My teacher swore by premade layouts, I ditched them after 2 months
I started bullet journaling in high school back in 2017 and every tutorial said to set up fancy weekly spreads with washi tape and doodles. After 2 months in Portland, my pages were mostly empty because I spent too much time on the setup, not the actual logging. I switched to a bare minimum system with just dates and tasks in my Leuchtturm1917, and my productivity shot up by a lot. Has anyone else found that simple pages work better than the pretty ones?

Wait, you actually bought one of those pre-printed planner sets with all the stickers and everything? I've definitely been that person who thought they'd finally become an aesthetic planner person too.
