Question about tracking daily habits without making it a chore

I spent 6 months trying to track 10 habits every day in my bujo and kept giving up after 2 weeks. Realized last Sunday that I was trying to do too much at once, like tracking water, exercise, reading, meditating, and flossing all in one spread. My buddy Mike told me he only tracks 3 things and swaps them out monthly, which finally clicked for me. Now I pick 3 habits for September and leave the rest blank, no guilt about missing the others. Anyone else find that less is more with habit trackers, or do you load up your spread with everything?

Nah, I go the opposite way actually lol I track like 8-10 things at once but I keep the tracker super simple and only check stuff off once a day. If I miss flossing for a week it's whatever, I still see that I read 20 out of 30 days and that feels good enough.

Yeah exactly, consistency over perfection is the only way this stuff actually sticks.
