Those $30 "fancy" pens I bought were a total letdown

I picked up a set of those pretty pastel gel pens at a craft store because my cheap Bics just felt boring. They smeared all over my monthly spread after one day and I had to redo everything. Anyone else find a good pen that actually stays put?
