Went to a coffee shop yesterday and the barista had a full bullet journal spread for her latte art practice log

She had a tracker for each pour pattern with symbols for pass, fail, and spill, and even a mood dot for how she felt about the foam consistency, which made me wonder if I should start logging my own morning journal entries with that level of detail or just stick to my messy daily lists.

Oh man, this is peak overachiever energy right here. Like I can barely remember if I put sugar in my coffee let alone track my mood about the foam consistency. If I started doing that for my morning journal I'd have a whole spreadsheet just for whether I found my keys or not. Next thing you know the barista is gonna have a color coded key for her milk temperature preferences and a graph showing her latte art success rate by day of the week. Honestly I'm already exhausted just reading about it, my messy list of "buy milk, feed cat, exist" looks pretty good right now.

I mean @cameron763 you're totally right, I once tried to track my caffeine intake and ended up with a three day spreadsheet and a headache from overthinking it. Honestly I'd probably forget to feed my cat if I got that deep into coffee foam consistency analysis. But hey, maybe the barista's got it figured out and I'm just out here losing my keys in the couch cushions every morning. My journal just says "woke up, had coffee, hope for the best" and that's about as sophisticated as I get.
