Back in January I had a 3 gallon kit tank with a built in filter on my desk in Tacoma and it still grew brown algae every 4 days, so I switched to a plain 1 gallon glass bowl with dwarf hairgrass and 5 shrimp and now I do one 20% water change a week and it stays clear, has anyone else had a tiny bowl outlast their fancy kit?
