Just broke down my 500th whole hog this morning
I was cleaning up and counted my tags from the cooler. It hit me that I've fully processed five hundred hogs since I opened my shop. That's a lot of shoulders, bellies, and hams. It made me think about how much faster I am now compared to hog number one. Anyone else keep track of a number like that? I'm curious what other milestones people hit in their shops.

Wow, five hundred. I started keeping a tally on the wall after my first hundred, just a pencil mark for each one. It's satisfying to see that line get longer, and you're right, you stop thinking about the steps after a while.

That's a cool way to do it, Brian. I just hit three hundred myself and it does start to feel automatic after a point.
