Chose Klein over Ideal for my last crimper purchase

I needed a new coax crimper after my old one finally gave out after 8 years. Picked the Klein VDV226-110 instead of the Ideal 30-725 because the Klein felt better in my hand during a quick test at the supply house. Two weeks in and no complaints on RC6 and RG6 connections - has anyone else found the Klein grip holds up better in cold weather?

You said "the Klein felt better in my hand" and honestly that might be the real reason to pick one over the other. I don't think people talk enough about how cold weather changes the plastic on these tools. I've got a buddy who runs an install crew up north and he swears the Klein handles stay flexible when it drops below freezing while the Ideal gets stiff and slick. That matters more than people give it credit for because you can't grip something right if your fingers are numb. Makes me wonder if Kleins grip compound is different or if its just the shape that helps.
