Had to pick between a hammer drill and a rotary hammer for a job in Phoenix last month
I went with the rotary hammer for drilling through 30 year old stucco and concrete block. It was overkill for the cable runs but saved me 2 hours on a single house. Anyone else find the heavier tool worth the hassle on tough exterior jobs?

Yeah man, that saved time sounds totally worth the extra weight on those rough exterior jobs.
