Hit 10,000 feet of coax pulled this morning and it got me thinking
I keep a little tally on my clipboard and this morning I crossed 10,000 feet of coax cable pulled since I started installing three years ago. That number surprised me because it's just a backyard job in Toledo that pushed me over, not some big commercial contract. Does anybody else track their totals or am I just weird about numbers?

Dude that's wild, I do the same thing with my drywall square footage.

Huh, do you actually track it per room or just a running total in your head? I've always wondered if people break it down by wall or just do the whole house at once. Also what's your waste factor on that?

Wait do you actually track waste factor on drywall or just eyeball it? I always add 10% for cuts and mistakes but I've been wondering if that's too much or not enough. What percentage do you use?
