I finally gave up on that stupid weatherproof box job near the refinery
Spent three hours trying to seal a box on the north side of the Valero plant in Port Arthur. The wind kept blowing my silicone caulk everywhere, and the customer kept saying it looked fine but I knew it was wrong. Have you guys ever had a simple 30 minute job turn into a whole afternoon mess?

Hate when that happens... you plan for a quick fix and then the universe just decides nope, not today. That wind situation sounds brutal, especially with silicone, that stuff gets everywhere. I've had days where I'm chasing a leak all afternoon and it feels like the customer knows it's gonna be a pain but watches you struggle anyway. It's the worst when you know it's not perfect but can't stop because you're already deep in it. Hope your next one goes smoother.
