Just realized I've been ignoring a major safety step after talking to a retired installer in Cleveland.
He said he never used a voltage tester on old apartment lines until he got a 120v shock in '92, and that story hit different. What's one safety habit you learned the hard way?

@the_sean my dumbass once tested if a wire was live by touching it so yeah learned that one real quick.

Man, I used to think checking for hot wires was a waste of time. That story would make me double check everything now.
