PSA: The zip tie trick that actually saved my back on long attic runs

I've been doing cable installs for 8 years now and my lower back was killing me from crawling around in attics. Tried kneeling pads, different ladders, even those knee savers. What actually worked? Taking a small bungee cord and hooking it to my tool belt loop then clipping the coil of cable to it. Keeps the spool off the ground so I'm not bending over every 5 feet. Just did a 3 hour run in a 130 degree attic yesterday and felt way better. Anyone else got weird hacks for attic work that aren't the usual stuff?

Small bungee cord" would probably snap under the weight of a full spool. You're better off with a proper cable reel holder or a carabiner on a ratchet strap.

Had a friend try that with a garden hose reel once, ended up with a nice dent in his truck.
