Serious question, does anyone still use push-on connectors for RG6?

My old boss Carl swore by push-on F connectors for quick residential jobs, saying they save 5 minutes per drop. I tried them on a 12-unit apartment complex last month and had to redo 4 connections because of signal loss. Has anyone else had that same problem with push-ons or did I just get a bad batch?

And the time savings totally evaporate when you're climbing back up a ladder to swap out a bad one, right? I think a lot of it comes down to cable quality and prep work, but even then, I'd rather spend the extra minute on threads for peace of mind. For a big job like that apartment complex, compression connectors are just more reliable, especially when you're working with walls and long cable runs.
