Vent: dual wielding a tone generator and a tracer on a hot roof in Dallas

I tried running both at once to save time on a 14 drop rewire and got readings all over the place, ended up chasing ghost signals for 2 hours. Is it just me or does pairing them cause crosstalk, or was I just pushing it too hard?

Honestly, I think the crosstalk theory is a stretch. I've run that exact combo on worse roofs and the gear is designed to handle both signals at once, so the real issue was probably you rushing a 14 drop job in that heat. Two hours of ghost chasing sounds more like fried wiring or a loose ground than the tools fighting each other, maybe it's just me but I'd check the connections before blaming the gear.
