Wasted $150 on a fancy crimper that couldn't even handle RG6 properly

Oh MAN do I feel your pain! @james_martin93 is totally right, I learned that lesson the hard way too. I spent like $120 on some fancy brand-name crimper that was supposed to be top of the line and it stripped the jacket off RG6 like it was butter. The Klein ones are the ONLY ones that work for me now, I've got two of them and they just keep going. It's wild how the expensive junk can't even do the basics while a $40 tool nails it every time.

What kind of crimper was it? I've had pretty good luck with the Klein Tools ones for RG6, they're around $40 and have never let me down. Could be that the die wasn't matching the connector type properly, or maybe the compression fitting was just a bad batch. In my experience, spending big doesn't always get you better results with these tools, sometimes it's just about finding the right fit for what you're using.
