Bought a $35 cable raceway kit for my TV wall and the adhesive gave out in 3 days
So I finally got tired of the spaghetti mess behind my 65 inch TV in the living room and grabbed one of those peel and stick raceway kits from the big box store. It was the white plastic kind, 4 channels about 30 inches each, 35 bucks. I cleaned the wall with rubbing alcohol first, let it dry, pressed each piece for a full 30 seconds like the box said, and even waited 24 hours before running any cables through. Day 3, I hear a pop around dinner time and the whole bottom section peeled off the drywall, HDMI and power cord and all, and it yanked the cord right out of my soundbar. The paint came off with it too in two spots, so now I get to patch and repaint a wall I was trying to make look clean in the first place. The real kicker is I have a stud finder and a drill sitting in my garage the whole time. Anyone got a wall mounted channel system that actually holds with screws and doesn't look like a giant gray stripe across the room?
