Showerthought: watching a guy at my cousin's wedding in Dallas staple every cord under the DJ table changed how I zip tie everything
I was helping my cousin set up his wedding reception at a hall in Dallas back in June and the DJ had this rat nest of power cords and XLR cables just draped everywhere. The venue guy came over with a staple gun and a roll of velcro and had the whole thing tucked under the riser in like 15 minutes. I had been using those little plastic zip ties on my home setup for years and every time I moved something I had to cut them all off and start over. Now I keep a spool of velcro in my desk drawer and it takes me 30 seconds to add or pull a cable. Has anyone else switched to velcro and never looked back, or am I late to this?
