Built a tray ramp for the 8th grade lunch line last month and it worked for exactly 2 days before Mr. Peters caught on
So last month me and my buddy Devin got bored during 4th period lunch at Franklin Middle and started messing with the stack of trays by the trash cans. We figured out pretty quick that if you flip 3 trays upside down and stack them in a stair step against the bench, they form a perfect ramp. Then we stuck a chocolate milk carton at the bottom and sent a spork sledding down it across the table, and honestly it went way farther than we expected, like halfway across the cafeteria floor. For two days straight we were running this thing at lunch and other kids started betting quarters on whose spork would go farthest. Then on day 3 Mr. Peters walked over right when a spork caught air and hit some kid in the back of the head, and that was the end of that. He made us unstack everything and told us the trays are for eating, not engineering. Anyone else get busted for a tray build, or did you all have chill lunch monitors?
