A retired guy in Reno handed me his grandfather's Pentax and said 'just make it work, I don't care what it takes'
He wanted the dents left in, the scratched glass kept, everything original, which goes against my instinct to make a camera look factory fresh. So here's my question: do you restore to working order and leave the character, or do you make it pretty? I've been going back and forth on this for a bit and I'm curious where you all land.
