Changed my mind about ultrasonic cleaners after seeing a 40-year-old lens at a shop in Chicago

I always thought they were overkill until I watched a guy run a crusty old Nikkor through one for 5 minutes and it came out spotless. Now I'm saving up for a used Branson 200 - has anyone had one of those fail on you?

Nah, I've never had one fail but I feel like it's way too much risk for vintage glass honestly.
