Dropped $75 on a lens collimator from a facebook ad, total junk
The reticle wasn't even centered from the factory, threw all my infinity adjustments off by a mile. Anybody else get burned by cheap alignment tools?

Man that sucks. I bought a cheap laser boresight off Amazon once and the beam was crooked right out of the box. Tried to return it but the seller ghosted me. Ended up just using a flashlight and a piece of cardboard with a pinhole to check my scope alignment. Worked better than the laser honestly. Sometimes the old school ways just beat the cheap gadgets.

The real trick is nobody tests collimators against a known reference before using them. Grab a cheap theodolite or even a laser level to check your gear first.
