That camera shop in Portland had a drawer full of dead Yashicas

I was in Portland last month and stopped by a repair shop off Hawthorne. Guy pulled out a drawer with 8 broken Yashica Electro 35s just sitting there. Anyone else run into shops hoarding old repair projects like that?

Honestly that just sounds like an old junk drawer to me.

The repair guy on Hawthorne had 8 Yashicas too, but he said most were just stuck shutters from sitting so long. @flores.tessa is right that junk drawers are common in shops like that, but I actually bought one for $20 last year and fixed it with just a new battery and some cleaner. Its been my main street shooter ever since, so its worth asking if you check the drawer yourself.
