They don't actually stop us from fixing cameras... but they sure make customers nervous for no reason.

California passed a law a while back against those stickers. It's about time companies stop SCARING people into paying for repairs they could do themselves. I've seen friends hesitate to open up their gadgets because of that little warning. Jamiesingh is right, and more places should follow suit. It just feels like a cheap way to control what you own.

Actually, those stickers are illegal in some places now.

Yeah, it's like @drew233 said, just another way companies make you feel like you don't really own the thing you bought. I see that kind of control everywhere now.
