Burned $60 on a cheap camp stove that died after 2 trips

I bought one of those no-name propane stoves off Amazon for like $60 thinking I was saving money. Worked fine the first trip but on the second one the regulator just gave out and it wouldn't hold a flame. Ended up having to borrow food from my buddy at the campsite. Anyone else had luck with budget camp stoves or is it always worth spending more?

Man that sucks! I did something similar a couple years back with a cheap folding camp table from some random brand. Looked solid in the pictures but the legs buckled the second time I put a cold beer on it. Guess I learned the hard way that saving money upfront just means paying later with worse problems.

Did you ever try putting rubber feet or some kind of grip pad under the legs? I had a similar issue with a wobbly table and some adhesive felt pads fixed it right up.
