Pro tip: stuffing my sleeping bag in a trash compactor bag kept it dry through 2 straight nights of rain in Shenandoah
Got tired of my pack liner leaking at the seams, so I skipped the fancy stuff sack and just jammed the bag into a $4 compactor bag with the top twisted shut. Everything inside stayed bone dry while my buddy's gear got soaked, and the bag doubles as a pillow stuffer. Anyone else skip branded dry bags for plain hardware store ones?
