Just found out most ATV trails in BC are closed from March to June for grizzly bear calving

I stumbled on a 2024 BC government PDF while planning a trip near Prince George and it listed over 60 trails shutting down for 3 months who else has dealt with surprise closures up here?

Heard about this from a buddy who rides near Terrace. Said it caught a lot of folks off guard last spring when they showed up to closed gates.
